SAN ANTONIO – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women's golf team is set to face off against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a match-play event on Friday at 2 p.m. at Brackenridge Park Golf Course.
 
The first group will tee off at 2 p.m.
 
The Lineup
UTRGV will be sending this lineup against Corpus Christi.
Match #1 – Brooklyn Sutton vs. Emma Mesta
Match #2 – Alex Amos vs. Vicky Gonzalez
Match #3 – Autumn Bynum vs. Michelle Moroles
Match #4 – Dani Bergmann vs. Briana Garza
Match #5 – Kellsey Sample vs. Tilda Green
 
Last Time Out
UTRGV opened up the fall season at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic where it finished in 10^thplace with a three-round score of 918. 
 
UTRGV posted rounds of 303, 310, and 305 while having a pair of golfers in the top-25. 
 
Tilda Green led the way as she finished tied for 18^thwith a three-round score of 224. She opened with a round of 72 and followed with a 78 and 74. 
 
Briana Garza finished tied for 24^thafter turning in rounds of 77, 74, and 75 for a three-round score of 226. Emma Mesta finished in 55^thwith a three-round score of 236 after rounds of 79, 80, and 77. 
 
Vicky Gonzalez made her UTRGV debut with a three-round score of 239 with rounds of 77, 83, and 79 to finish tied for 57^thand Rachel Yu finished tied for 61^stwith a three-round score of 240 with rounds of 77, 78, and 85. 
 
Next Up
UTRGV will be back in action on October 1 when it travels to Huntsville to compete in the Bearkat Invitational.
