Cassi Rozanski joined the UTRGV men’s basketball program as the Coordinator for Basketball Operations in November 2015.
During the 2015-16 season, she wass one of just seven women on NCAA Division I men’s basketball staffs, along with fellow basketball operations professionals Janna Eichelberger (Second Season, Tennessee State), Mary-Carter Kniffen (First Season, Tennessee), Justine Miller (Second Season, Mount St. Mary’s), Katherine Vosters (Second Season, Wisconsin), and Kreigh Warkentien (Fifth Season, UNLV) and Director of Player Development Shannon Hodge (Second Season, Rider).
Roazanski and her husband, assistant coach Marc Rozanski, made up the only husband-wife duo on an NCAA Division I men’s basketball coaching staff.
Rozanski spent the previous seven seasons as an assistant women’s basketball coach for The University of Texas at Tyler.
 
During the 2013-14 season, Rozanski helped lead UT Tyler to the NCAA Division III Sweet 16 for the first time in program history. The Patriots also won the American Southwest Conference regular season and tournament championships.
 
In her first season with UT Tyler, the Patriots won the American Southwest Conference East Division. In the 2012-13 season, Rozanski was instrumental in helping the Patriots set a new mark for wins in a season (18) en route to the ASC Tournament semifinals.
 
A native of Groesbeck, Texas, Rozanski first broke into coaching in 2006-07 as a student assistant with her alma mater, UT Dallas, which was in the same conference as UT Tyler.
 
During her time as a four-year starter for UT Dallas, Rozanski set five career records and one season record, including career blocks, rebounds, free throws made, field goal percentage, and field goals. She also holds the record for best field goal percentage in a single season.
 
Roznaksi finished her career at UTD by serving as captain for two years and earning Academic All-Conference honors as a senior.
 
Rozanski graduated from UT Dallas with a bachelor’s in education and completed her master's degree at UT Tyler in 2012.
 
She and her husband, Marc, currently reside in Edinburg.
