Fall 1996: Shot a final round of 75 to finish second at the Chip-N-Club Tournament in September...Tied for the seventh spot at the Lumberjack Invitational...Represented Mexico at the 1996 World Cup in Manila, Philippines.

As a Junior (1995-96): Earned All Sun Belt Conference honors by placing overall in the tournament championship... Took first place at the Lady Bronc Golf Classic with a score of 236... Competed in 11 tournaments finishing in the top five in nine... Placed second Santa Clara Colby Invitational and the Lady Panther Invitational... Compiled a 77.34 stroke average... Shot a season low of 70 at the Lady Panther Invitational... Shot rounds of 84, 76, and 76 to finish in a tie for second at the Lady Rebel Intercollegiate tournament... Finished the season ranked 87th in the 1996 Rolex Collegiate Rankings... Selected to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's All-Academic List. 

As a sophomore (1994-95): Tied for first place at the Sun Belt Conference Championship... Selected to the All-Conference Team... Won South Texas Junior Golf Championship at Treasure Hills CC and Harlingen CC in summer of 1994, shooting a 74 and 73... Shot a low round of 72 at Valle Alto in Monterrey... Won the amateur tournament in Saltillo, Mexico in summer of 1994... Represented Mexico in Junior America's Cup (open to players 15-17) in 1991-93...
